We found all the amenities very easily - the information in the villa was excellent and the management company kept in touch. "I just wanted to write and thank you very much for the use of your lovely home over the past couple of weeks. We had a wonderful time and couldn't have wished for anywhere nicer to stay. I commented in your visitors' book that it was much more than a rental home - more a 'home from home' - and it made the holiday so much nicer because of it.
We hired a car from Stoutes for a few days last week and they were very efficient, as you had said. It gave us a chance to explore the Atlantic side of the island plus see some of the other tourist sights. We also enjoyed walking down to the Royal Pavilion in the evening and sampling some of their lovely cocktails! We had a very nice meal there one evening too and the food was excellent.
If we decide to return to Barbados in the future you can be sure I'll be in touch with you again. In the meantime, I am hopefully doing a good marketing job for you in letting friends, family and work colleagues know about a lovely place to stay should they decide on a holiday in Barbados!" The air of peace and tranquillity of Porters Court was so special, and the colour all around with the foliage, flowers and birds was just delightful. We spent a great deal of time sitting on the veranda just enjoying the ambience.
The swimming pool was brilliant and a perfect temperature.
We really couldn't fault anything. Porters Court is an unexpected jewel and oasis ....
We visited quite a few attractions and enjoyed snorkelling a few times and pottered round (or should I say potholed round - the smaller roads are diabolical!!!!).
But really we were perfectly happy just to stay in Porters Court a lot of the time, lapping up the weather and the atmosphere. It was definitely the right decision........................." CL May 2005
